Poster boards will be numbered: Place your poster on the board number that matches your abstract number.
Set Up
Boards will be available for set up after 6 PM on Friday, December 4. Push pins and Velcro will be available. If you cannot set up your poster on Friday, please do so before 9:30 AM on Saturday. Please take your poster down at noon on Saturday or it may be discarded.
Judging and Awards
Graduate student research and postdoctoral student research will be judged separately and awarded separate prizes. Each poster will be judged by three different scientists. We try to schedule judging so that each student will have one presentation between 10:00 and 10:30, one between 10:30 and 11:00, and one between 11:00 and 11:30, but we cannot guarantee it. Please remain by your poster throughout this time period.
Judges will convene at 11:30 and presentations of awards will be at about noon. Door prizes will be given out while judges are deliberating.
Two graduate student awards will be given:
1st place - $1,000 Dee S. and Patricia Osborne Endowed Scholarship in Neuroscience
2nd place – $500 Graduate Student Research Award
Three postdoctoral fellow awards will be given:
1st place -$500
2nd place - $300
3rd place $200
