The Neuroscience Research Center (NRC) promotes interaction, collaboration and the exchange of information among UTHSCH scientists and clinicians engaged in neuroscience-related research, teaching and patient care.

Neuroscience Online Courseware

Initially created for first-year medical students attending the department's Medical Neuroscience course, the department's Neuroscience Online electronic textbook is now available to the public. Also useful to graduate and advanced undergraduate students, prospective medical school students and neuroscience professionals.

SNNAP Neurosimulator Software

Simulator for Neural Networks and Action Potentials (SNNAP) is a neurosimulator software program designed to help researchers develop and simulate realistic models of single neurons and neural networks.

The department's Gross Anatomy and Developmental Anatomy websites are now available to students and others with UTHSCH userids. Students can also download FREE copies of the Acrobat (PDF) versions of the syllabi from the respective course websites.
