OBJECTIVES

One objective of this project is to develop mathematical models of biochemical and genetic networks based on regulation by CREB and related transcription factors, which play a key role in determining long-term memory.
Another objective is to develop models of biochemical and genetic networks underlying circadian rhythms. Such models will be used to improve the understanding of these networks and identify key points of control.
Final objective is to carry out usability testing of Bio-SPICE tools with various models in order to evaluate different tools available in the Bio-SPICE project. Also, provide first time users with a Getting Started manual that describes how to start using Bio-SPICE with some of the simulation tools.
