Offered Alternate Years Course DescriptionLecture and discussion of issues and topics in learning and memory. The topics will depend upon the needs of the students and their background. Topics may include: Classical and instrumental conditioning, comparative cognition, animal intelligence, animal and human memory processing. Students will read the assigned material and prepare issues to be discussed during each class meeting. Course RequirementsPermission of the instructor. Required TextbooksReadings will be approximately 150 pages per class meeting. Portions of textbooks and original articles will be assigned. |
