DENF 1502: Gross Anatomy

Course Description

This course provides the dental student with the opportunity to learn in detail the structure of the human body and to begin to relate the structure to function. The greatest amount of time and detail are directed toward the study of head and neck anatomy. Upon completion of this course, the student should know the structures and arrangement of the human head and neck in detail and the general scheme of whole body anatomy. The student will have received all the gross anatomical instruction necessary for the National Board Examination and for the practice of general dentistry.
